New chilled water systems class added
We have some great classes slated this spring in our free energy-efficiency series lineup. In response to customer demand, we just added Chilled Water Systems from 7:30 a.m. - 12 p.m., June 12, at the World Trade Center in Portland. Water is used in chillers, cooling towers and other systems for people and process cooling in commercial and industrial applications. This class will teach you how you can control energy costs and improve efficiency, while also maintaining comfort and process quality.
Also coming up:
Blower and Fan Systems, 7:30-11:30 a.m., May 14, at the World Trade Center in Portland. Learn about the principles of blower and dust collection systems and how to save energy without reducing production. Topics include components, systems, how to calculate operating costs and energy efficiency opportunities.
Lighting Retrofits: Interior, Exterior and Security, 7:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., June 5, at the World Trade Center in Portland. Learn about incentives, tax credits, and LEED points for lighting retrofits in office, retail and industrial spaces. Training focuses on interior light quality, energy use, exterior lighting, security and how to minimize light pollution.
